What you need to know

No. None of the five questions creates a new tax or raises a tax rate. The water and sewer questions are revenue bonds repaid only from utility fees, not property taxes. The housing and civic-buildings questions are property-tax-backed bonds, but they are timed to replace older debt being paid off, so the debt-service tax rate is projected to stay flat. The Central City question simply renews a sales tax that is already in place at the same rate. A YES on all five does not increase your tax rates.
